Preventative maintenance visits play a very big and important part in the
running of a busy Commercial Kitchen. Should an important part of your
Catering Equipment break down the Kitchen will not be able to operate to its
full capacity, causing inconvenience and possible customer dissatisfaction
and also loss of earnings.
Regular preventative maintenance will reduce the risk of untimely breakdowns
and ensure that your Catering Equipment is operating safely, correctly,
efficiently and conforms to all the current regulations (Health & Safety and
The Gas Safety (Installations and Use) Regulations 1998 Etc.)

The Standard Service Contract
This contract would normally be for 2 x Service Visits per annum to an
agreed schedule of Equipment.
A pre-determined detailed schedule of works would be carried out to each
item of Equipment ensuring that the appliances are working to the
Manufacturers recommended settings (IE: Items included such as that the
Electrical appliances are electrically safe & Gas appliances are sound an
operating pressures are set correctly)
Minor spare parts would be fitted at this time any additional spare parts
the may be found to be required would be subject to a separate written
quotation.
The Labour Comprehensive Service Contract
This contract would include the Standard Service Contract details but also
include for the labour involved in all intermediate and emergency breakdown
calls.
The exceptions to this contract would be customer miss-use, operator error
and abortive calls.
The Fully Comprehensive Service Contract
This contract would include the Labour Comprehensive Service Contract and
also include for all spare parts that may be required to be fitted during
the period of the contract.
